Growing up, I was always drawn to the elegance of Indian textiles and the deep-rooted stories they held. The rustle of a handwoven saree, the rhythm of a loom, the quiet dignity in the hands of a karigar — these were more than just visuals; they were emotions.
During my time at NIFT Bangalore, this passion matured. I began to see fashion not just as a form of expression, but as a powerful medium to preserve heritage, empower communities, and make a lasting impact.
After spending over eight years in the fashion industry, something shifted. Despite the glamour and pace, I felt a growing need to return to something more authentic — something real.
On visits back to my hometown, I met weavers and artisans holding onto traditions passed down for generations, often with little support or recognition. Their resilience, skill, and humility touched me deeply. I realized then that my purpose wasn't just to design — it was to serve, to connect, and to uplift.
And that’s how Priti Designer Studios was born.
Not just as a fashion label, but as a bridge between tradition and today.
